Song writing is a bit of a lost art with our generation. We no longer have the couth for the sexual innuendos of early rock and roll music, and popular artists rarely if ever write their own material. It’s all about image. About immediate gratification. It’s not about the story anymore, Rihanna just gets on stage and shows her cooch and we all cheer. That’s basically the music industry at this point, no subtlety.

So when I hear a good song, a WELL-WRITTEN tune that’s completely original, I get all goose-pimply.
